Mrs. JoeAnn Nash | Principal of CICS Loomis

Mrs. Nash most recently served as Assistant Principal at CICS Loomis-Longwood and has been a dedicated member of our community for many years. Mrs. Nash earned a Master in Educational Leadership at Lewis University. She was previously an Instructional Coach at CICS Loomis-Longwood, and has held prior roles including Dean of Instruction, Instructional Coach and as an elementary classroom teacher. 

Ms. Jasmine White | Assistant Principal of CICS Loomis

Ms. White has been part of our CICS Loomis family in her recent Instructional Coach role and brings a strong early childhood, instructional and culture forward leadership focus.

CICS LONGWOOD PRIMARY | 3-8

Ms. Melinda Jean-Baptiste | Principal of CICS Longwood Primary

Ms. Jean-Baptiste joins CICS Longwood Primary as Principal after more than 4 years serving as principal at Jovita Idár Elementary School. She previously served as an Assistant Principal and Resident Principal at Chicago Public Schools and was a member of the CICS network in previous roles at Civitas. In her time in the education field, Ms. Jean-Baptiste has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the success of her students, families and school communities.

Ms. Yvonne Glenn | Resident Principal of CICS Longwood Primary

Ms. Glenn was most recently Assistant Principal at CICS Prairie, a school community she has been a part of for 19 years in many roles. Yvonne brings a strong background in Dean leadership as well as family engagement and middle school instructional knowledge. 

Mrs. Amber Kirk | Assistant Principal of CICS Longwood Primary

Mrs. Kirk joins CICS Longwood as Assistant Principal from the CICS Lloyd Bond campus where she most recently served as Assistant Principal. Amber brings a wealth of instructional knowledge and capacity as well as a strong love for our CICS schools with a focus on culture and excellence.

CICS LONGWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Dr. Maria Freeman | Mentor Principal of CICS Longwood High School 

Dr. Freeman has been a dedicated member of our community and an educational practice leader for many years. Dr. Freeman earned her doctorate in Administration and Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis, and has served as an Academy Director, Instructional Leader, Culture and Climate Specialist, and Assistant Principal prior to taking on the role of High School Principal of CICS Loomis-Longwood. She has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the success of our students and our school, increasing our school ratings and implementing research-based interventions and strong professional development. Her leadership has been instrumental in creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all of our students, and we are fortunate to have her continue in this role.

We are confident that with Dr. Freeman’s continued leadership, our school will continue to thrive and provide our students with an exceptional education.

Dr. Jeralyn Harris | Assistant Principal of CICS Longwood High School

Dr. Harris has been part of our Longwood community as a master teacher and has many years of educational leadership and instructional experiences. We are grateful for her excitement in this role and for her strong leadership into the future.
