The New Student Application is now open for the 2023-24 school year! The application must be completed for all students entering Kindergarten - or applying for any grades K-8 - for the next school year.

Eligibility
In the 2023-24 school year, DCP Redford will serve students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. All students must reside in Michigan. Kindergarten students must be age 5 by September 1, 2023. (If your child will not be 5 by 9/1/23, you may apply for a waiver).
DCP Redford is a tuition-free school of choice. No entrance exam is required. DCP Redford is open to all students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, or disability.
Lottery Information
In the event the number of applications received during the open enrollment period exceeds the number of seats available, a random selection lottery will be held during the first week of May.
Applications will continue to be accepted after the lottery date, and seats will be filled on a space available basis. If a grade level is at capacity, students will be placed on the waiting list.
