February was such a fun and busy month for us! We kicked off our winter kids club session and celebrated Valentine’s Day with flowers and candy grams!
We are 100 days smarter! 2/15 marked 100 days of school for our students, here are some kindergartners wearing their celebration hats!
We kicked off our Reading Buddies program with a school wide pajama party! Students will continue to meet with their reading buddies once a month for the rest of the school year, here are some glimpses into all the fun we had!
Our Kids Club Choir performed at the Chicago Symphony Center, take a look at some of our very talented Pumas!
Community Partner Update:
Special thanks to Thamani Family Counseling Services for launching an after school program for students grades 6-8th. It is offered free of charge and they discuss several mental health topics.
Keep an eye out for the next session that will include younger grades!
Thamani Family Counseling offers individual, group and family therapy. Therapy can be a great way to gain the insight, skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary for increased mental health for people of all ages.

As a reminder, 20% of sales will benefit CICS-IP!
We have partnered up with the North River Youth Council and are collecting donations until March 8th! Items will be donated to a local food pantry and the Friendship Center in Albany Park,
donations can be dropped off in our main entrance or north doors lobby.
No donation is too small!
